Privacy policy
Last updated: 27 July 2026
This policy explains what information DiffenVPN collects, why we use it, and how we protect it. It is written for the VPN service, account dashboard, billing, support, and abuse-prevention systems.
Information we collect
We collect account information such as your email address, sign-in method, verification status, and profile settings. We also keep billing and subscription records needed to process payments, renewals, refunds, cancellations, and support requests.
When you contact support, we keep the conversation, its linked VPN profile (if selected), delivery status, and relevant account details. Do not include passwords, private keys, payment-card details, or login codes in support messages.
To operate and protect the VPN service, we collect technical events such as VPN profile identity, connection decisions, timestamps, server, data usage, client metadata, source IP address, approximate country/city, ASN, and abuse or data access decision reasons.
What we do not collect
We do not intentionally inspect, record, or sell the contents of your internet traffic. We do not store passwords in plain text. We do not publish internal server, IP, token, or infrastructure details to users.
How we use information
We use information to provide VPN access, generate and revoke configuration files, enforce plan limits, process billing, send transactional emails, respond to support requests, investigate abuse, protect users, and keep the service reliable.
Optional analytics cookies
With your permission, we use Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics to
understand website performance and improve the user experience. Google Analytics may set
cookies including _ga and _ga_*. We keep
analytics and all advertising storage disabled unless you choose
“Accept analytics”; advertising storage remains disabled after acceptance.
Your choice is stored in the first-party
diffenvpn_consent cookie for 180 days. You can change it at
any time through “Cookie settings” in the footer. Rejecting analytics
prevents Google Tag Manager from loading and removes accessible Google
Analytics cookies from this site.
Retention
We keep account, billing, cancellation, abuse, and operational records for as long as needed to provide the service, comply with legal and tax obligations, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and support security investigations. Internal logs are kept only as long as operationally useful.
Sharing
We share information with service providers only as needed to operate DiffenVPN, including payment processing, email delivery, cloud hosting, infrastructure, and customer-support messaging providers. Customer support messages and the account/profile context needed to answer them may be relayed to our private Telegram support workspace. Customers do not need a Telegram account. We may disclose information where required by law or to protect users, the service, or third parties.
Your choices
You can cancel your VPN service from your account dashboard. You can use the secure support chat to ask about your account, request help, or raise a privacy concern.
